GoTV Netball Champions league worth K15 million is slated to be launched on August 26, 2017 at Blantyre Youth Centre.
National Netball team Assistant Coach, Samuel Kanyenda disclosed this Saturday in Lilongwe during an interview.
He said the league’s launch will then move to Mzuzu Katoto Netball Court on September 16-17, 2017.
Kanyenda added that the grand finals will be held in the capital city, Lilongwe at the popular Bon Bosco netball court on September 30 and October 1, 2017.
” The National champions league for netball teams will attract eight netball clubs from the three regions of the country and they will fight for honours,” he pointed out.
The eight netball teams are from north:
Lameck and Mzuzu Queens, centre: Blue Eagles Sisters, Civonets and Mafco, and south: Tigresses, Thunder Queens and Kukoma Diamonds.
The netball teams also fight for glory in the Presidential cup at national level annually.
