Great Angels Choir hire legend  Sipho Makhabane to spice up website launch celebration show

One of the outstanding gospel music group in the country, the Great Angels Choir has invited the renowned South African based gospel music legend Sipho Makhabane to add flavor to their long awaited website launch scheduled to take place on 29 September at Bingu International Conference Centre in the capital Lilongwe.

The website launch is an indication that the Great Angels Choir is making strides in as far as gospel music in the country is concerned, indeed they are setting standards as people will be able to find more information about the group without struggle and transact businesses.

Speaking to Nyasa Times, Great Angels Choir Music Director Ephraim Zonda said Makhabane will not only perform but also will deliver a motivational talk to Malawian artists.

“Apart from website launch, we would want to take this opportunity to learn how fellow musicians transact their businesses abroad, especially in South Africa where Makhabane is coming from, we are very sure that he will motivate us one way or the other,” said Zonda.

Zonda said the website will help them generate money as companies will be pressing their adverts and that they regard it as a milestone in their music career and people should expect great things from them.

He added that there will be several activities that will take place prior to the website launch including press briefing and performances by a well-known musician and a comedian whom he did not disclose saying they want to surprise people.

The show is scheduled to start at 5 o’clock in the evening.

Speaking on video posting accessed by Nyasa Times, Makhabane confirmed that he is prepared enough to dish out the best performance which will leave Malawians starving for more.

“Hie, this is Sipho Makhabane, the big fish from south Africa, on 29 September, I am coming to the launch of Great Angels Choir website launch at BICC in Lilongwe, Malawi ,be there, you will not regret,” he confirmed.

Currently advance tickets are selling at K10 000 standard and during the day K15 000 while VIP tickets are selling at K25 000 and K40 000 Couple while VVIP tickets are selling at K50 000 and there are only 50 Tickets available according to Zonda.

Tickets can be accessed at Cheza café, steers City centre, Puma filling station and BICC Business centre among other places in Lilongwe.
