In pictures: Chipuwa engages sweetheart Dinnah
Malawi national team and Mighty Wanderers goalkeeper Richard Chipuwa on Friday decided to put a ring and engaged his with his longtime girlfriend Dinnah Hxaviel in Blantyre.
Chipuwa proposed to Dinnah assuring her she will be in his safe pair of hands during a colourful ceremony at Kings Premises in Blantyre.
Chipuwa said he couldn’t ask for a more beautiful setting for the best time in his life than getting engaged on Boxing Day.
“She’s my greatest Christmas gift ever!” Chipuwa told Nyasa Times.
“I’m so excited and it feels great to be engaged to someone you truly love.”
They are reportedly set to exchange marriage vows soon.
The engagement ceremony was witnessed by close family members from sides, football players and supporters from Big Bullets and Mighty Wanderers.
Chipuwa comes from Kuwenza Village, Traditional Authority (T/A) Changata in Thyolo whereas Hxaviel comes from T/A Makwangwala in Ntcheu.
Last week another Flames striker Zicco Mkanda tied the matrimonial knot with Ireen Ngosi on Saturday in Blantyre.
