Izeki doing poorly, but not dead – Mabedi
Once mighty drama powerhouse and entertainer, John Nyanga—alias Izeki—longtime partner Eric Mabedi in Izeki ndi Jakobo two-man skit has brushed aside the monger mill that Izeki has died, saying he is receiving treatment at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) in Blantyre.

Rumours swirled on Monday that Izeki had passed on but Mabedi said he took him to the hospital on Monday where he is still receiving treatment.
“He is in hospital receiving treatment,” said Mabedi.
The social media has been awash from Monday with Nyanga’s purported death.
Mabedi said it is “false information” what is being spread on social media, saying Izeki is receiving treatment though poorly.
“Izeki is absolutely alive,” stressed Mabedi.
Mabedi said he was dissappointed with “disgusting rumours” with Izkei’s early demise, saying he is getting medical attentoion .
Apart from entertaining people through comedy, Nyanga is also a founder of the Ndirande-based Synagogue for Hope where he is popularly known as Prophet Z

Mr “The Analyst”..for sometime I have been following your posts and largely, I have found them considerably brainy. Your post (Gossip) on Mr. Nyanga doesn’t fit the bill. Of course you are merely human and therefore fallible. For a country like Malawi, AIDS have evolved to a level where we cannot ridicule someone for having it. It is a generalized epidemic which means chances of relatively “careful” people being infected become high. In any case, you don’t have to be super reckless in order to be infected. Whats wrong with your post is that it stigmatizes sundry people with HIV. I am not judging you but like you have ably stated, we learn from other peoples’ mistakes and even more strongly from our own. I hope your posts in future will not in any way remotely stigmatize other people and come across as the average level posts I see.
Long live baba
JAH GUIDE,Izzeck….!
@ Analyst. If such comments were made against you or your closest relative say your wife/father/mother/sister brother e.tc. while in the same situation as Mr. John Nyanga. How would you/they feel? Have you diagnosed honorable Mr. Nyanga and found that his sickness is as a result of all the deeds you mentioned as committed by Mr. Nyanga? You are a person of substance based on what you comment and I was not expecting such comments to come from you. Ndakhumudwa!

Whoever doesn’t like gossip, should not read on . . .
. . . But wise is the one, who realises that gossip is 99% true and that there is alway a thing or two to learn from gossip. Za useless and baseless death rumour zili apo, Izeki has done a lot of almost everything, specifically, in his prime.
. . . As an archaeologolist, which cave has Izeki not explored?
. . . With his mountaineering hobby, which mountain has he not climbed?
. . . As a lover of fashion, which cloth has he not touched or sampled, on the vendors’ markets?
. . . As an investor who likes to diversify; which oil well has he not had a stake in?
. . . As a farmer who strongly believed in irrigation, which ground has he not watered?
. . . et cetera . . .
Is anyone any more surprised that he looks exhausted now? Am not surprised!

Living is learning. But it’s sad when you are used as an example, for others to learn.
. . . If you are a National Bank customer or ever visited their premises and happened to watch the recent MO626 Advert featuring Izeki n Ja, one scene that stands out is that of Izeki falling off a bicycle; not as part of the drama, but failure to maintain balance due to weight issues.
. . . I wish National Bank could edit/delete that scene. It’s quite degrading!; as it invites sympathy as opposed to laughter and more questions than answers; and raises eyebrows more than MO626 awareness.
. . . Anyway . . .

End of gossip!
