Japan top football sponsors eyeing Malawi -Josaya
Sole sponsor of top flight league side Epac FC, Dean Josiah-Banda, has disclosed that Malawi will soon be walking in the waters of wealth as Japanese big names in football circles are pondering to sponsor or invest in the development of the country’s football.
This follows recent exclusive visit which the top official in the Central Region Football Committee made.
Josaya went to Japan to search for sponsors for Malawi football.
Some political leaders have at some point come in to assist.
However briefing Nyasa Times on his Japan tour, Josaya who is also top business magnet said there is a lot of inquiry about Malawi by Japan sponsors.
‘’These people were asking me about website but unfortunately in Malawi we do not update pages which chronogises current football status. That is bad for the development of the sport, “said Josaya.
Josaya said he will disclose the names of the Japanese sponsors when talks with other stakeholders are completed.
