Kabwila gets UTM ticket unopposed : ‘I will fight hard to get votes for Chilima’

Salima North West legislator Jessie Kabwila will represent her nre party UTM in the May 21 Tripartite Elections as she went unopposed during the primary elections on Tuesday after dumping main opposition Malaei Congress Party (MCP).

Kabwila unopposed in UTM primaries speaking to supporters as Anita Klainde looks on

Kabwila went unopposed after her challenger , Moses Bowa, withdrew his candidature .

The outspoken legislator clarified that that she did lose the MCP primary elections but that she did not participate.

“Those were not primaries but an ambush. It is well-documented. Twice they attempted to set this up but they failed because I was just too strong for them on the ground. My competitor could not beat me in a free and fair election and that is why they used short cuts against the normal MCP procedures to simply endorse him in the end,” said Kabwila.

She said  people in her constituency want to align themselves with UTM Party president, who is also the country’s Vice-President, Saulos Chilima, who has a passion to liberate them from poverty and hunger they have been facing for too long in the district.

Kabwila vowed to ensure that UTM gets all parliamentary and local government seats in Salima.

“Now that I  have won the primaries. I will fight hard to ensure that Chilima gets all the votes in the constituency,” she said.

UTM is planning ti hold a rally in Kabwila’s constituency on Saturday to welcome her .

Meanwhile, UTM is yet to conduct  primaries in Salima South West and Salima South.

This is very ha ha ha! Mayi Jessie Kabwila ended up competing against herself under the party of Arafat Hamdani and expects to win a parliamentary seat in the coming TPE? She is enjoying herself with her own finger like a baby.

The other candidate withdrew and Kabwira went unopposed. With the Chilima whirlwind gentlemen and ladies, do not underestimate her prowess in politics. Gone are the days that electorates supported candidates by the region they come from. You will be surprised to see Jessy in parliamnet

Aka, the fact that UTM aspirants are standing unopposed means UTM is not as popular as Chilima wants us to believe.

MCP is still thinking of NDALE ZOOCHEWA , just forget that, don’t think as if you are still in 1960s , that’s old model mentality of using your brain you fools , you stop thinking on regional lines.

If you return to parliament jessie ask me, its good that you dig your own grave. At this point start negotiating with unima for your possible return although very dought if unima can allow you back. Since you left UNIMA, Chanco has been quite, which simply mean your are most trouble maker a thing which you took with you to MCP. You forget that at MCP discipline is a must, any way wishing you a good future as you prepare to join sky way university or start dancing troops in our bar joints
