Kabwila, Njobvuyalema yet to be called for MCP disciplinary hearing
Opposition Malawi Congress Party (MCP)spokesperson Jessie Kabwila and another senior party member Joseph Njobvuyalema are yet to appear before the party disciplinary committee, months after they were suspended.
Both Kabwila and Njobvuyalema were suspended by party president Lazarus Chakwera on allegations that they hired people to torch the party headquarters in Lilongwe.
Deputy secretary general Eisenhower Mkaka said the two would be dragged to the committee soon.
“The committee met first and very soon it will be calling them to hear their side of the story as natural justice demands,” he said.
Kabwila and Njobvuyalema denies the allegations.
On Sunday, Chakwera said the suspensions and sacking of senior party members is part of his party rebuilding exercise
. He fired senior party members Felix Jumbe and Chatinkha Chidzanja Nkhoma.
However, Chatinkha has got court relief after obtaining an injunction restraining the party from expelling her.

Spent forces Kabwila and Jobvuyalemema, we don’t need you in MCP. The president has good people to guide him
Chakwera Chakwera how many times should I call your name? Tinafa bulu kusunga chipanichi go back to church and sing malirime bcoz you’ve proven politics is not for you
Chilungamo, a MCP wa malangizo ndiye akulandira koma sakumvaaaaaa akufuna azidzanena kuti aberedwa chisankho koma chonsecho akuyambitsa okha ulendo oluzawo
President of MCP is right, this is the way of restructuring the party look we have strong political pillar from lower state
MCP without the likes of Njobvuyalema the veteran politician and vocal Jesse Kabwira in Malawi politics is like accepting that MCP is no longer a strong opposition party. If you break the back bone just know that you will never stand up again. Malawi politics needs both experienced and vocal politicians. Remember we are in the third World where politics are played under ground. This will make DPP rule for another 10 years to come because no any new born baby can win in Malawi politics! Mark my word!
is this true sir/madam. I also used to think like you before, that DPP without Dr Bingu Wamunthalika there is no DPP but am Disproved!
