Kainga’s satirical comedy gets viral in Malawi

Wayisoni Comedies’ by Blantyre-based comedian Precious Kainga are steadily impressing on various social networking sites such as Facebook and Whatsapp for the great satire employed in them.

Presently, ‘Wayisoni Anamalira’ and ‘Wayisoni Private Schools’ are getting impressive downloads on YouTube. For example, in the former the comedian makes fun of a rather serious affair where he proudly advertises himself as best criers at funerals in town.

He said in an interview with Nyasa Times  that his focus in his comedies is to promote culture, entertain and educate masses.

“My vision is to become one of the most greatest Comedians in the world, and I trust God that this will happen and considering that I have more followers in countries like South Africa, USA, UK, Kenya, India, China, Namibia and many other countries ”, he said

He said his career started way back when he was in primary school and his passion grew when he was at secondary school where he used to perform live during Association of teaching English in Malawi (Atem) Competitions representing William Murray Boys Secondary school in the year 2009 and 2010.

According to Kainga, Malawians should expect more comedies that will bring excitement and laughter.

Wayisoni Comedies have also been on Malawi Broadcasting Corporation Television-Comedy Corner-and Matindi Television.

Apart from Comedies Kainga is also a musician, story writer and music producer who has worked with different local artists including Chrissy Kamthunzi, Blaze, Atoti Manje, Mabilinganya Empire ,Harry Tsegula, Kondwani Chirwa, Keneth Khondiwa and Robert Chiwamba, among others.
