Kaliati rejoins Wanderers to keep fit

New Cape Town City football club signing Isaac Kaliati has started training with former club Mighty Be Foward Wanderers to keep fit as he prepares to join his new club.

Kaliati: Keeping fit with Wanderers

Kaliati who was recently withdrawn from the Flames camp preparing for the CHAN game against Madagascar in Antananarivo due to rules of the competition (restricting foreign based players) started training with his former team on Wednesday this week.

Kaliati  confirmed to Nyasa Times .

“Yes am doing light training with my beloved club (referring to Wanderers) as I await to join my new club. My agent (Michael Makaab ) is aware of the development. I want to remain in good shape before I start my new lease of life at Cape Town City,” said Kaliati.

Kaliati, who gave his first official  interview  to Nyasa Times since returning from South Africa after successful trials, also hinted that it was not easy to make the grade at Cape Town City F.C.

“They (Cape Town City FC) are a good team with top quality players. It was not easy for me to make the grade. But I thank God and everyone for the prayers. I really can’t wait to begin a new chapter of career.

“I have always loved and enjoyed playing for my beloved  Wanderers but it’s time now to try professional football. I am happy for what Wanderers has done to me and I have all the respect to the entire executive and the supporters,” said Kaliati.

Kaliati signed a 3 year contract with the South African club.
