Kamwendo back in Wanderers training
Be Forward Wanderers inspirational midfielder Joseph Kamwendo is taking part in training session after suffering a hamstring injury against Moyale Barracks which was worsened when he featured in Blantyre derby against Nyasa Big Bullets.
The battle-hardened midfielder took part in full training with team-mates as he continues on the road to recovery.
Kamwendo looked sharp taking part in shooting practice on free kicks and getting involved in Coach Yasin Osman’s session – suggesting he could be in line for a recall.
An early return for Kamwendo would be a boost Lali Lubani Road outfit who are pushing for the league title.
Team manager Steve Madeira said they Kamwendo to be part of the squad in the last push for the title.
“JK is the leader of the team and having him in the remaining crucial games would be a boostto our quest for the title,” he said.
The Nomads lead the 16-team league with 55 points from 24 games, four ahead of second-placed Bullets.
