Kazisonga to join Malawi training camp this week

is expected to jet in the country this week to join the local squad in preparation for the 2017 Cosafa womens championship at Mpira Village in Chiwembe, Blantyre.

Speaking from Australia on Monday this week the Altera Porta F.Cdefender confirmed to Nyasa Times that she has been released by her
team to come and take part in the national duties and that she will be in the country any day between Wednesday and Friday.

“Everything is set for me but I just have some few things which am sorting out at Vienna University where I’m doing my studies, when am done am hoping to leave for Malawi before the end of this week,” said the player.

Commenting on whether Malawi have chances to do wonders at the 2017 Cosafa Womens Championship in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe Kazisonga said; “In football everything is possible, you can not judge a team based on
previous performance because things do change so i believe Malawi is capable of doing better. We just need to encourage each other and motivate the young players,”

Malawi has been paired in Group A together with Madagascar, Zambia andthe host Zimbabwe.

The 2017 cosafa competition will be played from September 13—24.
