Kim addresses early stages of love in ‘Run Away’ single
It looks effortless when you see couples in the streets, ask them how they started dating and you will be surprised.
People have sold properties, been beaten, robbed and slept hungry in search for love.
Not to mention running away from parents’ houses and jumping fences in and out from a lover’s residence.
This is what has inspired singer Kim in her new single “Run Away” which was released on Tuesday, 11 July and it produced at Exclusive Entertainment Records by BFB.
“It’s a song that is inspired by the early stages of a love relationship. I am singing about a girl running away to meet her lover and she finally decides to tell her parents about it in stages, first addressing the mother and then the father.
“She tries to find the right words to describe him so that her parents can understand why she is with this “guy”, so she likens him to how well her father treats her mother and finally she invites her “lover” to meet her parents,” Kim explained.
The “Cool like that” hit maker further disclosed that she was working on a new EP. She said release dates will be announced as soon as the EP is done.
