Lady Pace in ‘get to know me’ Lilongwe tour

Northern region superstar crooner and one of a few female artists on the contemporary secular music block, Lady Pace, has announced her ‘Get to know me’ tour  plans for Lilongwe and other parts of the central region of Malawi.

Lady Pace, born Mwayi Mphande, is anticipated to kick off her tour second week of October and continue the concert series until end of the month.

The Songstress, who mid this year performed along side Piksy during a Winter Show in Mzuzu, plans on taking on the central region by storm sweeping through about seven stages before concluding the tour on the month’s last day.

“The wait for Lilongwe and other parts of the central region is over. October is the time of the year when Green Jam music label is to give the central region fans a mind blowing, sensational urban concerts and we are very proud to be delivering yet another highly anticipated tour to our capital city fans this year. And to those who will from other corners of the country, it will be awesome,” Pace told Nyasa Times.

She added: “True to form, Lady Pace is back on the stage, touring the capital city and other selected place in the region. I have been performing in Mzuzu and Northern region and I don’t want to limit my self so I decided to change the tune and visit other parts.”

The artiste behind tracks like hello, ten wishes, run, I am in love and taking over from yet to be released ‘Pace and People’ album is likely to get a hand from Ocean Investments, a Media and Marketing firm, to prepare for the tour.

The firm’s head of Marketing and Publicity Victor Nkhata was, in connection with the tour, quoted saying: “Being the leading female singer brand in the northern region, Lady Pace who has undeniable star appeal, which pulls in major audiences in the north, it would only made sense for Ocean investments to get involved with this tour.

“If well organized and consulted, we would look forward to hosting the artist and give her central region fans chance to watch her perform live here in the capital.”

Apart from Piksy, the 21 year old accountant by profession, has also shared stage arena with the dance hall artist Mafunyeta who died recenlty.
