E-wallet Coordinator Anthony Kafuwa told Nyasa Times in an email response that preparations have so far reached an advanced stage and that the final contestants are ready to showcase their talent.

“Indeed the grand finale is on 1st May, 2016 at the Capital Hotel, Marquee Lounge” Kafuwa confirmed.

Out of the 21 contestants who were picked at the beginning of the competition in all the three regions of the country, only five have made it to the finals.

“The contestants remaining are Eunice Kadzuwa-Mhango, Shanice Tandwe, Kelvin Zalimba, Jeremiah Chikhwadza, and Sigele Akimu,” said Kafuwa.

The winner will  go away with a brand new Nissan Tilda Hatchback worth K3,000,000.00.

Kafuwa said it is difficult to predict the winner as the competition is very stiff.

Said Kafuwa: “As at now, it is uncertain who the winner would be because the competition this time is stiff considering the prize at stake but Malawians should expect a great night where talent will be
unleashed.”

The E-wallet Coordinator also revealed that patrons will have a special bonus as musician of the moment Patience Namadingo come face to face with Faith Mussa as guest artists.

The journey of the season 7 of the E-wallet Talent Competition started on 24th October, 2015 and the official launch took place at the M-Theatre Cinema at the Chichiri Chopping Mall in the Commercial City of Blantyre.

The competition is being managed by E-wallet in partnership with Zodiak Broadcasting Corperation (ZBS).

This year’s competition is being sponsored by Monarchy Lodge, Mimosa Court Hotel, Green Island Investments, Armtech Security and Freightcom Limited.
