Apostle Hulda Kamanga has been appointed matron of Lingadzi Police Station for the next three years, in a new partnership between the station and her charity, Hulda’s Global Foundation.

The appointment was officially confirmed at a special event held to mark the partnership between the two parties.

Officer-in-charge reveals struggle to find partners

Speaking at the event, the station’s officer-in-charge, Charles Mpezeni, revealed that since taking up his position at Lingadzi, he had reached out to numerous potential partners in search of support – but had been met with disappointing results, with only a handful showing any real interest.

Hulda’s Global Foundation, he said, was among the few organisations that responded positively to his appeals – a gesture that ultimately led to Kamanga’s appointment.

“It is therefore with great pleasure that I appoint Apostle Hulda Kamanga as the matron of Lingadzi Police Station for the next three years,” Mpezeni declared.

‘A sign of God’s grace’

For her part, Kamanga described the appointment as a tremendous honour, calling it a sign of God’s grace upon her and her foundation.

She pledged her full commitment to working alongside police at the station, vowing to help bring positive change to Lingadzi Police Station in the years ahead.
