Living Waters church radio fires love birds

The Living Waters radio station has finally fired two of its employees Rachael Bwanali and Kondwani Mkandawire who were caught having steamy sex in production room while on duty on the New Year’s Eve..

The radio’s station manager Patrick Kamkwatira has confirmed the dismissal of the two love birds.

The two, Bwanali and Mkandawire, received letters of their dismissal on Friday last week, just days after they assaulted a fellow employee Milen Nazombe on suspicion that he leaked the story of their sex scandal to the press.

“I can confirm that the two are no longer working with us, but I cannot say much because there are a lot of issues going around concerning these two. All I can say now is that officially they are no longer employees of this radio station,” Kamkwatira confirmed in an interview.

Bwanali: Sacked

Rachael Bwanali who a relative to the Living Waters Church founder Apostle Stanleyr Ndovie, and Kondwani Mkandawire made headlines recently after they were exposed to have been caught romping by a guard on duty on December 31, 2011.

Bwanali was announcer while Mkandawire was programmes manager. They were suspended before finally being fired.

According to the information Nyasa Times has sourced, the two assaulted their fellow worker Milen Nazombe on suspicion that he was leaking information to the press about their sexual escapades.

Stale

Nazombe, who reported the incident to police, confirmed of the assault but described the issue as stale and that “the case was closed”.

“I think that issue is closed. We discussed and we forged a way forward now I can’t comment on that issue any more. By the way who gave you that issue?” wondered Nazombe.

According to Soche police officers who did not want to be named, Nazombe opened a case against Bwanali and Mkandawire after medical reports confirmed he was indeed assaulted. But he later withdrew case and asked the officers to close the file.

On their sexual escapade, the two decided to get more intimate and more romantic on New Year’s Eve when they took advantage of the absence of other workers, but their escapade did not miss the eyes of a guard on duty who later reported the issue to the radio’s management which then put them on suspension.

The guard is said to have suspected something after hearing the woman screaming.
