Lucius, Paul Banda come face to face at M1 Centre Point

Doyen of Malawi music Lucius Banda and his brother ‘Sir’ Paul Banda come face to face this Saturday in a show which is expected to offer explosives to fun lovers.

According to one of the organizers of the show, Willie Kachepa, they have decided to bring the duo back on stage together because they have shaped Malawi music history.

Kachepa said since the two need no introduction on the Malawi music scene he expects the venue to be filled to capacity.

“Sir Paul Banda and Lucius Banda has helped many musicians on the local as well as international scene. As one way of thanking these legendary musicians fans need to come out in large numbers,” he said.

Kachepa said there will be other supporting artists including Nepman, Sam Smack, the 6 Solid Band, Mr Zembani, Mr Friday as well as Chisomo Golombe among others.

Assorted food items will also be on sale and drinks will be sold at a a ver competitive price.

A fun lover Katie Katengeza said she is looking forward to the show because she has grown up listening to Paul and Lucius Banda.
