Lulu clashes with Namadingo this Saturday at Epic in Lilongwe
Two guitar wizards Lulu and Namadingo’s clash vehemently at Epic Exclusive in Lilongwe this Saturday for a musical showpiece that is promising to be nothing but electric and fireworks.
Namadingo and Lulu will showcase their craft at Epic Exclusive in Lilongwe on Saturday in an event dubbed Clash of Titans. Organisers of the show say the event is meant to dispel any fears of animosity within the music industry.
Epic Exclusive chief executive officer Yollam Kawanga told Nation Online that they have always wanted to bring them together.
“What is said about the musicians out there is not what happens when they are together behind closed doors. There is unity in the industry and that is the point we are trying to drive home. We want to bring the best out of the two,” he said.
Both artists also dismissed any assertions of a possible rift between them and have urged their fans to come and join them as they have fun.
Namadingo said: “There is no bad blood between me and Lulu. He is an excellent guy and one of my good friends. Let them people come and have fun with us.”
On his part, Lulu said his focus has always been on what happens in the artistic lane and not what other people say away from it.
“Our industry is too small to accommodate any hatred. Not here in Malawi. I don’t have a problem performing with any artist in Malawi. Namadingo is a good artist whom I respect. I am happy with what he has done in his career,” said Lulu.
