Magistrate arrested, ‘couldn’t resist’ grabbing woman’s booty – Malawi Police

A third grade magistrate in Mzimba is in police custody due to poor impulse control after he allegedly accused of fondling the breasts  and groping a woman’s buttocks.

Police spokesman for Mzimba Lingstone Kanjaudzu said the third grade magistrate at Uncisweni court in Mzimba Tobias Sibale is alleged to have called 22 year old married womanPatricia Jere into his office at the court premises where he started proposing love to her.

“In the course of proposing the love, he started carassing her, this is when the woman shouted and people came to her rescue,” said Kanjaudzu.

The woman said the Magistrate touched her boobs and grabbed her right buttock

The Magistrate reportedly told police that he touched the woman’s rear end because: “Her booty looked so good” and he couldn’t resist touching it.

According to police, the incident happened on November 16 but he could not be arrested immediately because the woman reported the matter at Kafukule police post instead of nearby Mpherembe police post.

Kanjaudzu also alleged Sibale threatened her not to report the matter to the authorities.

The woman’s husband works in Salima.

Sibale comes from Mtemwamkondo Village in chief Wenya’s area in Chitipa.

The incident happened barely a week after a police officer was arrested for allegedly raping a woman suspect.

Kanjaudzu said Ronnex Matchaya of Mpherembe police is suspected to have raped the woman whom he kept at his house overnight.
