Major 1 spoils his lieutenants with vehicles amounting to K150 million
South Africa based Malawian Prophet Shepherd Bushiri has surprised 15 members of his team with gifts of top of the range vehicles to ease their mobility.
The move, according to the Prophet, was meant to preach to his team the essence of God’s love to humanity.
He underlined that the gesture does not mean that he has a lot of money. Rather, he said, he was only trying to demonstrate the importance of sharing fortunes with those close as part of demonstrating the love of God.
Among the recipients includes his communications director Ephraim Nyondo, musician James Nee, his personal assistant Nick Muluzi, members of church band, some from his protocol and many others.
James Nee was speechless after the Prophet unveiled the gift to him. He went on his knees, in tears, and sang a song of praise.

There is nothing unusual here. We have always given benefits to those thst work with us to make money. Leadership is not about prophecy. And business is not government. And so too prophecy and business. In Bushiri case I just don’t believe his money is clean. Let’s beware

But why is this man of God so obsessed with the media. Every thing he does become news. This is not the only church that buys cars for its employees. Can’t he just do some of these things silently. Organization and companies buy posh y cars for there employees but we have not heard anyone shouting on roof tops. He buys a birthday gift for his wife – that’s news. The wife buys him a birth day gift that’s news. Some of these things need to be done silently.
