Malawi national football team will camp on Sunday at Chiwembe Technical and Development Centre in Blantyre to prepare for Algeria in the Group B Africa Cup of Nations on October 11.
Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has released a list 26 players local based including Under-20 national football team players defender Miracle Gabeya, midfielder Ernest Tambe and striker Chawanangwa Kawonga while goalkeeper Bright Munthali is stand by.
Unheralded defender Enock Likoswe has also been included in the call up dominated by the old faces.
But the inclusion of Bullets striker Mussa Musanje, who is currently struggling at club level, has raised eyebrows on the coach Young Chimodzi’s decision.

Flames started the campaign on a poor note having lost 2-0 to Mali in Bamako in their Group B first match before beating Ethiopia 3-2 at Kamuzu Stadium to perch on third position.
