Malawians have been sharing picture of the water flooding the roads on social media.

More rain is expected to hit parts of Malawi  later, according to

Department of Climate Change and Meteorological Services (DCCMS) .

DCCMS’s Head of Public Services, Eleanor Kululanga said Malawians should  expect more rains as the season progresses therefore advising them to pay attention to the weather forecasts the department releases.

Principal Agriculture Meteorologist Adams Chavula  advised farmers all over the country to seek more advice from Agriculture Officials if they are not sure on whether to plant or not to plant their crops.

“If they doubt about the amount of rain and whether to plant their crops in their respective areas, they should ask the Agriculture Extension Workers because they have the capacity to measure the soil to determine soil moisture,” he said.
