Malawi Police record 15 road accidents over Easter
Malawi Police has registered 15 road accidents during the 2017 Easter period as compared to 13 accidents registered last year during the same period.
National Police Spokesperson James Kadadzera said that out of the 15 accidents registered across the country, six were fatal and seven people lost their lives.
“Some of the main causes of the accidents include; non compliance to road traffic rules and regulations on the part of road users such as drivers, pedestrians and passengers,” said Kadadzera.
He said out of the 13 accidents registered last year across the country, six were fatal and six people lost their lives.
The police are advising all road users to take responsibility of road safety nets.

It’s sad to note that even the police either do not know or they are ignorant of the real causes of accidents in Malawi. The reasons are mainly two. No1. The roads are BAD. No.2. Traffic Police officers are corrupt to the core. THIEVES!
