  1. I for one – support the reshuffle and the positing of Atupele Muluzi to this new passion, he is a lawyer and I think he can bring good things to Malawi if he can use history properly.

  2. its only MCP that holds future for Malawi. Zinazi Malawi will become poorer and poorer. What we want is neither big nor lean cabinet but better livelihoods for all malawians. APM is ignorant on what malawians want.

  3. Munthu ukalonjeza uzipanga zimene walonjeza ngati PETER thank u for that Mr President SIR

  4. Is it not that Muluzi was blocking govt from syphoning fro energy and mining ? LETS WAIT AND SEE IF ESCOM,PETROLIAUM COMMISSION AND OTHERS will not be syphoned shortly

  5. Atupele akulephela security ya kunyumba kwake ndiye atha bwanji dziko lonse. mxii.

  6. This means that these ministers have failed to perform as expected and transfering them to other departments does not mean that they will be excellent there. Mr president you needed just to chop and replace them with new blood. The public already knows the reason for keeping Atupele into the cabinet.

  7. osati zimenezo guys palibe wa udf kapena dpp kapena pp olonso mcp onse ndiamodzi, chifunika ndikugwilizana kuti tithese mavutowa guys.

  8. GRM is right, pple u should have a focus of the future, this move is so dangerous to ur wise and dynamic lovely Veep.

  9. Not a good move to move Atupere Muluzi to Ministry of Home affairs. Malawi will witness more insecurity in few years to come. Do you think that I will not allow those of my religion to come to train people in Malawi? Even if they are caught, Will I not use my ministerial powers to release them from the hands of the police just like the other minister when he was the minister of defense? Anyway….the president has his own motivations for puting Muluzi as minister of defense….

  10. Cabinet Reshuffled Chaka Chisanathe,This Is Good. But Why Can’t The Same Be Applied To Civil Servants Postings? How Can A Person Serve At The Same Station For Over 20Yrs?A Good A Example Is Shire Valley ADD Where Some Accounts Personnel Including The Auditor Have Been There For More Than 20Yrs,What Is Happening Now:Akugwira Ntchito Motayilira Moti Akumapititsa Ma Returns Mochedwa Moti Anthu Akumalandila Mochedwa Since January,2015.As Iam Writing Nobody In The ADD Has Been Paid Yet Salary For The Month Of March,Can U Imagine This? But Iwowo Don’t Suffer Bcoz Ma Allowance Ndi Pafupipafupi Koma Kwa Munthu Woti Amadalira Salary Yokha Zikumavuta Zedi.Pliz Govt Do Something To Relieve Us

  11. Re shuffles happens but nothing changes in these ministries.. Something is terribly wrong in our country..

  12. Izi tamva koma atikonzerenso vuto la kukwera kwa KWACHA nthawi imene alimife tikugulitsa mbeu timaona ngati mukutibera otilamulira

  13. Comment I thank the president for maintaining the lean cabinet but I could love if he injected new upcoming youths in his cabinet`for malawi to change rapidly we need new ideas replacing old ones which has failed this country to come out of poverty`the youths if given this opportunity they can do in colaboration with our president who is a great thinker`proffessoer well educated`malawi can move fast` `

  14. Kwathu ku Malawi dziko lokongola komanso lamtendere anthu odana kamba ka zipani kukamwa kudatiuma ife tinkati otsutsa sangagwire ntchito ndi boma kodi lero siizi Atupelenso mantaining ministership…Ndizotheka tonse pamodzi tiyeni titukule dziko lathuli posayang’anira mbali yomwe tichokera..Ziri bwino bwana president…

  15. changes of cabinet r presidential prerogative. After the ones that work are civil servants not Ministers. Motivate civil servants and u wl get good results. I think its also time u get more non MPs into cabinet they wl work for the benefit of Malawians and u wl get them from all regions. Watchout for the yellow guy bwana. We love our party Blue. All the same these ministers shd wor, mr president and your veep r working hard but some of ur ministers r not serving malawians but their bellies.

  16. My guess
    1. Someone has failed at lands or at home affairs and in order to save him the president reshuffled the cabinet

    2. The president is in good books with Atupele’s father and want to give him platform to build his CV. Chilima must be worried. These people are up to nothing.

  17. It’s only in Malawi where a president is addressed as doctor, professor, almighty or shit like that just to make Sure that he/she is worshipped. In America Obama is called president Obama in south Africa Mandela was called president Mandela even Mugabe is called president Robert Mugabe but in Malawi a president has to be called doctors, his excellency almighty bulshit blabla just to make them appear to be holly, fuck that shit man after all that asshole is not even a legitimate asshole of a president. In tumbuka we say mavi yanyina.

  18. timayesa tiona khope zina, achina akweni mukapume m’mene munayambira muja koma ndiye munapata sing’anga wamphamvutu, nanuso che APM tasithani tione khope zina a obama ku sports you are not ticking, failing to convince the government to put more money ku sports mkazi ndi mkazi basi kungomva kuti ali ku primary xool amaziwa kuthamanga muli basi koma ameneyu za mkutu,za ziii!!!!

  19. Comment yes congraturations mr president take care of them they are your kids follow them on what ever they do

  20. I can see the agreement between Peter and Bakili working. Peter is preparing Atupele for the presidency, true. He is being given critical ministries; he took over energy ministry, when the country was plunged in huge electric deficiencies, rampant cutting down of trees. We have seen how he managed to fight tooth to nail in January when situation was at its lowest. We have seen how he has managed to mobilised various organisations to plant trees to conserve the environment.
Now with the lapse of security and issue of Albino anduction on the rise, it has pleased Peter to test this young chap with this issue. Atupele is an achiever and a motivator to most youths, am quite very sure security will be back to normal.
His next destination is Home Affairs Ministry… His last in DPP will be Vice President. Keep watching you maggots!!!

  21. Thank you Mr. President by telling Malawians that Malawi belongs to the the South only. Thank you very much. Northerners are foreigners in their own country. Thank you very much Mr. President. Keep it up.

  22. Kod Home Affairs minister siuja anamubera kunyumba kwake iye Ali komweko! Kapena popeza Ku Machinga albino akuenda malonda ndie apangiletu, paja nthawi ya Bambi ake Mabere, Maso ndi Maliseche anadulidwa Ku Chilazulu! Nthawi yopanga ndalama BEBE. Gulisani albino Mulungu azakulangani koopsa

  23. Atupele adyeletu coz he is no longer going to b the president of this nation due to his greedness – i don’t like him ,,,,,,,,,,chakwera wil b our next president

  24. I wish the president @ times crossed party lines when making such appointments,i consider Dr Lucious Kanyumba, one of the hardworking & effective education ministers ever! Dr.Mkwezalamba was ideal @ finance, while Enock Chihana, was a very dynamic SPORTS minister, Mwanamvekha,is an Excellent catch,BRILLIANT but humble,i know him from our days @ Chirunga.

  25. Next time we need reshufle not rotation, consider people from central region who remained with the party after the death of our beloved Bingu. We love you mr president.

    1. Bright msaka is too slow & quite.paul chibingu has failed miserably..Atupele Muluzi has done well & has been active.you can see how the energy & mining sector has bn active, hence the change..the president wants Atupele to help ku home affairs.bravo APM.plz fire the 2 deputy ministers, thr useless makamaka Jappie Mhango

  32. Comment: Bwana President, i have a great respect for you sir, but am so concerned why keeping Jappie Mhango? He is a deputy minister with full up of sound signifying nothing. He wishes as if all his relatives were ministers. Bwana President, take care of these empty vessels.

    1. Winnei ngati Jappie sanakufunsireni chibwezi, musatinyatse pamenepa ndi umbatama wakowo. Ndiwe chitsiru, galu, chindere chakufikapo, ndipo nkhwezule weniweni. Usapitilizeso ndizakukantha chifukwa ndimakuziwa.

  38. I am surprised that almost all people cannot see the real reason behind this reshuffle. Oh no, We are Africans, I should know better. We don’t easily see things. Congratulations Atupele.

  39. We expected much to be done not those minor issues Atupele will di
vide your party have an eye on him appeseament policy hashad retrogressive results in the past

  40. maybe with this youngman Atupele security shall be tightened .no life shall lost by criminal acts

  41. Honestly,i thought the clinician Paul Chibingu was going to be a casualty this time around.Palibe chomwe wachita had it not been for the President’s intervention in his Ministry, the country would have been on fire already.

  42. Kikikikiki, a Malawi kususuka kwambiri mpakana, His excellency, the state president, professor. Idi Amini was the same. His excellency, state president, Field Marshal Idi Amin. In USA it is President Obama basi or Prime Minister David Cameron. Tikusuta chamba kwambiri in Malawi

    1. Jappie, truthfully speaking is so far the best MP RU north has ever had. This man is selfless. He has spurred a lot of development with his own finances. That character should certainly translate, in some way, to his current responsibility. Very few do match up to him in the cabinet. He needed to be full minister. May be you ain’t really in the know of him. Jappie, do the job and prove dem wrong!!!

  46. well am happy that the president has not increased the cabinet and has also maintained Goodall Gondwe. But my worry is on the performance of these ministers, much to talk is about Ben phiri who is anew Ebola in the APM regime, peter seem not to be concerned with what this virus may cause,of course he is aman not to cause so much headache but if left uncontroled he may be more hazardous than anuclear bom.APM is agoodman but too much dormant for his leadership roles. They say when aleader loses direction he is made to be aservant.Ben phiri was aspecial assistant to APM but now he want to take the presidency and make APM his servant. The weakness he has seen in his boss is what is driving him into unknown powers. APM’s principles of governaoce are really new but not so important for our country. At our point as acountry we dont need in any way to waste our precious resource which is time.

  47. PETER MUST BE DECISIVE!! FIRE THE INCOMPETENT AND DO NOT JUST ROTATE HIM AROUND. THAT IS NOT GOOD LEADERSHIP

  48. Mbali jiwawisilejo nikukusausya nnope, mundu jwalunda asawwika mbali jikusausya, panandi panandi ichikomboleka.

  49. That’s bull shit rotation of ministers. We expected dropping of Atupere , Kasaila, Nankhumwa and Jappie. All the same zayambika

  50. I believe one or two or all of the ministers that have been moved around have been useless or not effective in their cabinet posts; why not just remove them completely?

  51. Notthing strange with cabinet reshuffle it happens to people who perform and those who dont perform but such decisions needs to be made with thorough research and Consultancy..The question comes on the removal of Chibingu from Min. Hom Aff. to Energy..i feel this has to be revisited.

  52. Its normal since are in the same family & will help them to gain more experience in these new positions

  53. Good one.Maintaining cabinet is the surest way to good governance and knowledge gathering for the Ministers. If Ben Phiri took part in advising the President then bravo. Also on Viola as Presidential Press Secretary is a good one as Gerald is a foot soldier and assisted the Party
