Mafco chairman Captain Peter Ngoma said Mbulu would be expected to leave as soon as his visa is issued.

Captain Ngoma said Malawi Defence Force would not stand in the player’s way being a soldier in Malawi needs special clearance to serve in another country as a footballer.

“We cannot block his chances the Malawi Defence Force top management will do every possible to help him  go to play professional football in Portugal because that’s his lifetime chance,” he said.

Mbulu’s agent David Gulaimfa said once everything regarding the deal is settled he would release finer details of the contract.

“We will release details of the contract next week,” he said.

Mbulu has been in top form and made headlines after emerging top goal scorer in the Presidential Cup.

His omission in the national football team call up for Swaziland game in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier played last week raised eyebrows

Caretaker coach Nsazwirwimo Ramadhan said the player should not be rushed to international football as he is still young.

we know why he was ommited. It is because he had that scuffle with bullets players. Guys this coach will not help us. He is too high headed, very biased towards bibi.
