Malawi Super League transfer window opens September 28

Malawi TNM Super League transfer window will re-open on September 28 and close on October 12, 2012, to enable teams bolster their rosters in hopes of making a title campaign push in the coming months.

The Super League of Malawi (Sulom) general secretary Williams Banda urged clubs “to handle and conclude all player transfer issues” before window closes.

Teams are ready to strengthen during the transfer window with Tony Chitsulo set to seal his loan move from defending champions Silver Strikers to Mighty Wanderers.

But Banda appealed to Club to exercise professionalism when handling player transfers.

He also urged players to be “disciplined” when changing team and that there should be no “illegal poaching”.

“No player should move from one club to another without seeking consent from his present club,” advised Banda.

Already Wanderers have opened negotiations with Azam Tigers on the prospects of signing their suspended players Mapopa Msukwa, Timothy Chitedze and Mike Kaziputa.
