Malawian dies in UK, appeal launched to repatriate body

The family of a Malawian girl Gloria Chipeta who died in  UK have launched  an appeal to raise money to repatriate her body to Malawi for burial.

Chipeta, 30, died suddenly at Castle Hill Hospital in Hull City on December 30.

The family of the deceased want assistance of funds to repatriate the remains of the deceased to Blantyre.

“We are appealing for help from well wishers to repatriate the remains of Gloria to Malawi as soon as possible,” said Mrs Precious Mkandawire of Bradford.

She hailed from Mzimba but her parents settled in Blantyre

Donations can be deposited into a Halifax Bank.
