Malawian stabbed to death by girlfriend in SA
A 30-year-old Malawian Gift Kasenda has died in South Africa after his girlfriend allegedly plunged a knife into his body over a quarrel.
Theresa Simon is accused of stabbing Kasenda, causing him to bleed to death.
South African Police said they were investigating the matter.
But close friends to Kasenda and Simon, told Nyasa Times the coupled picked a quarrel and the girlfriend stabbed him.
Other Malawians who knew the couple said the woman was “always aggressive” while Gift was not quarrelsome.
They all lived together in Cape Town.
