Malawian’s debut novel placed amongst world’s best

Malawian author, Mzondi Lungu, has produced a debut crime fiction novel that is already being sold alongside international best selling novels accross the world in all major stores.

The novel , The Identity of Blood Money , published by Matador Fiction in United Kingdom on 23rd January 2012 is already being sold in world’s largest book sellers like Folyles, Amazon UK, Amazon America, Amazon Canada , Amazon France , Amazon Denmark and Amazon Japan.

In UK, the book is also placed amongst world’s best crime fiction novels in all online major stores like Waterstones, WH Smith , Foyles.

Launch

In an interview with Nyasa Times , author Lungu confirmed that he has been given a date by one of UK’s largest bookseller, Waterstones bookstores to launch his book in their bookshop in London in on 3rd March this year .

” I am thrilled and I feel honoured that one of the highly respected book stores has given me a special moment to do the launch and book signing from 12.00 to 5.00pm that day ,” he said.

“Am just excited this being my first novel and the fact that its putting Malawi on the map .”

Lungu described his novel as full of intrigue, gripping, suspense and mystery with ability to heighten the tension and leave the reader with expectation and anxiety.

“Mistakes are mine but success of this book belongs to all those who trusted me to come up with a fictitious piece of work,” he said.

“One thing I am sure about is that whoever reads this novel must be prepared to not put it down,” Lungu told Nyasa Times while also disclosing that he is working on his second novel

Meanwhile , The Identity of Blood Money will also be sold in Malawian bookstores in the coming weeks .
