Malawians in UK to party with new High Commissioner for charity

Malawians living in UK will hold a fundraising party at High Commission’s official Kwacha House in London on Saturday.

The address of Kwacha House is 70 Winnington Road, Hampstead, London, N2 0TX.

The Malawi Association UK with its partners said they are “hosting a fund raising party for families and friends to come together and have fun” with the new Malawi High Commissioner, Benard Sande.

Orgainsers Felix Banda and Gertrude Chirambo said the party will raise fund for some charitable organization working in Malawi.

There will also be a live performance by female upcoming musician Hazel Mak and DJ Graham Kenala.

“This will be a special event to relax and listen to the heartwarming lyrics, best of the best Malawian and African Music assembled by multi-talented DJs,” a statement from Malawi Association said.

“Besides the entertainment, there will be free food for all guests.”

Patrons will be required to contribute £15.

The party is scheduled to start at 4pm and ends midnight.
