Mkandawire said upon arrival at the airport they were welcomed by a group of Malawian supporters, who escorted them all the way to Corithial Hotel, where the team is being accomodated.

“Our spirit were lifted after seeing a group of Malawian fans at the airport. We are encouraged and ready to die in the field of play on Sunday,” said Mkandawire.
