Maneb releases JCE, PSCLE results

Malawi National Examination Board (Maneb) on Wednesday released results for 2014 Junior Certificate of Education (JCE) examinations and Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education PSLCE).

According to a statement signed by secretary for education Thokozile Banda, out of the 124,999 candidates who sat for JCE, only 91,539 have passed the exams representing 73.2 percent pass rate.exam-results-136382494117512801

On the other hand, out of 259,251 only 160,966 candidates have passed the exams representing a 68.8 percent pass rate.

Out of the 160,966 who have passed PSLCE, 67, 467 have been selected to various public secondary schools representing 41.9 percent.

Maneb advises those selected to start Form 1 to report for school on September 14, 2014 for boarding schools and September 15 for day schools.

The dates for starting school also apply to those who have passed JCE.
