Dubbed “Marvelous night” the show attracted the youth, middle aged and the elderly together with people from different areas within Lilongwe and of course others from Commercial City of Blantyre formed part of the audience.

In the first place the patronage was  discouraging but eventually the venue was filled with enthusiastic fans who gathered to witness the official launch of ‘Back to sender’ album by the Lilongwe based trio.

The launch started with a Lilongwe based United for Worship clue warming up the stage; they were followed by the Great Angel Choir which took audience to the Glory of God with songs including Mphavu ndilibe and Samadziwa kanthu.

They were all in decent attire and their feet covered with brown shoes, walking majestically the Marvelous Deeds got on stage at around 10:30 and opened the flow with a worship song titled ‘Ndikonda’ Glorifying God for giving them the long awaited day.

It was a display of maturity in their performance that led to people to give the a standing ovation and sing along some of their songs, and almost everyone got satisfied.

The auction saw the highest bidder, owner of Humphreys Transport getting the “Back to sender” album at K700, 000.

Next to take the stage was gospel grodigy Patience Namadingo who was on his usual best.

One of the Patrons Mathews Kolowiko said he was impressed with the performances saying he enjoyed the show.

He said “to say the fact I have enjoyed the show, I doubted when coming here but I have witnessed a very nice show and of course well organized”.

Speaking after the launch Member of the Marvelous Deeds, Abel Sanena could not manage to hold tears of joy saying God made things possible for them.

“We are very happy that God has made our launch possible and we are very excited that many people came to support us” He said.

Sanena said they are planning for the National tour which will be announced in due course and that they have plans to establish the marvelous deeds Music Company.

Some of the notable faces during the event were former Finance Minister Ken Kandodo, former Special assistant to President Peter Muntharika Ben Phiri (guest of honor) and Principle secretaries from different ministries.
