Mary Chilima, Abida Mia, Wa Jeffrey dress to thrill on judgement day

Mary Chilima, wife to UTM Party president Saulos Chilima, on Monday accompanied her husband to court to listen the delivery of the judgement in presidential election nullification petition in a stunning light bronze green skirt and gorgeous top.

Chilima’s wife is known for being one of the most stylish ladies and boasts a huge couture and designer wardrobe.

While Mary Chilima showed off her chic wardrobe by wearing a stylish green outfit, legislator Abida Mia also accompanied her husband Sidik Mia, who is vice president of Malawi Congress Party (MCP) in a stunning dress which fell to just below the ankles.

Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) secretary General Gresdler Jeffrey was in a suit of trouser and top while her UTM counterpart Patricia Kaliati was in blue stripped trousers and a top.

They were in constitutional court to listen to the ruling on whether to annul last year’s disputed presidential election results.

The vote in May returned sitting President Peter Mutharika to power, sparking widespread protests by the opposition, who says the polls were rigged.

Do Mrs Mia, Mrs Climila have any understanding of the poverty and suffering of the ordinary Malawian? Turning up in dresses as if they were attending a wedding. This is obscene and sickening! Turning up to a Court for a Judgement which will surly divide our nation further along party lines. Shameful/

I think you’re joking when did you, yourself go to bed hungry because your neighbors dont have food?????? Do you want to say one I’d supposef to dress in rugs to understand the depth of poverty????? If you’re blessed the only thing one is supposed to do I’d to share with the needy not that you must be in tattered clothes to appreciate poverty. Where on earth it works that way?????

So you wanted them to wear rugs? Are you stupid? This is a historic event and there will be pictures taken for history books and you want them to look ruggedy? Which planet do you come from?

Paid commentators. With no understanding of what is said. I think its Mrs Mia and Chilima posting the above comments. Indeed it was not a fashion show. It’s like they were attending a funeral dressed in bikinis. Showing off. How much do they have in common with 95 percent of Malawians. Nothing.

And ironically wangoonetsa umbuli wako coz the two ladies you have mentioned are philanthropists with so many evidence (check ur dictionary ngati chizungu chakudutsa).. besides, zobera ma vote zinachitikazi dont u think zinalinso zopanga divide nation? Of all people dressed smartly ku court’ku and allthe hundreds of people ku courtku, why have u just chosen to pin-point the two with ur salvage message of dividing the nation? Mxiiiii… were u writing ths aricle hungry, sleepy? Or drunk? Mxiii

You are all defending the indefensible. Are the ladies Nzeru has written about? Or agents instructed to comment. With heads like yours Malawi will always be poor.

Mrs Mia is an overtly ambitious lady. Malawians should wait and see how she will behave.

Defenders of Mrs MIa & Mrs Chilima do not understand that the judgement was not a wedding to go dressed up as they were. Please people learn to demand better conduct from our leaders and their wives. That is how you get leaders who rig elections and engage in corruption. Malawians will always fail as a nation. Why are we the poorest country in the world? Because of bootlickers like those of you defending these 2 ladies and their showing off.

Tiger you are right too many bootlickers in Malawi that’s why this is the land of Dictators and Cashgate. Always praise singers and too much ‘Yes Bwana and Yes Donna’. Just bootlickers.
