Masters Security FC appoints Abbas new head coach

The Lilongwe based TNM Super league side Masters Security Football Club has appointed former EPAC Football Club coach Abbas Makawa as their head coach.

Confirming the development with Malawi News Agency on Wednesday, general secretary of Masters Security Football Club Zachariah Nyirenda said Abbas accepted to take over the reins of head coach at the club.

“Yes, it is true that we have recruited Abbas Makawa as our head coach. He applied for the position and with his track record in football, we thought of engaging him. He is a good coach and we expect more from him from,” Nyirenda said.

He further said followers of the club should come and watch their club during the second round of the Super League scheduled for kickoff over this coming weekend.

“We urge all our supporters to come and support us. They should expect good results in the second round,” Nyirenda said.

Abbas Makawa has been coach in several clubs including Karonga United in the north. He was also assistant coach of Kamuzu Barracks and in recent years he coached EPAC football Club and managed to earn the team promotion into top flight TNM super league.
