Mhango returns as Moyale coach

Moyale  Barracks management has reappointed Nicolus Mhango as the team’s Head Coach returning for a second stint in charge at the club.

Mhango remains a hugely popular figure at Moyale

This follows the return of Mhango from official Malawi Defence Force (MDF) Peace Keeping Mission abroad.

He will now be deputised by Charles Kamanga who has been incharge in his absence.

Moyale Barracks General Secretary Gerald Kanje has confirmed the reshuffle.

“It is true that we have returned Mr. Nicolus Mhango as Head Coach for Moyale  Barracks following the completion of his MDF official duties abroad. He will be deputised by Charles Kamanga who has been incharge” said Kanje.

“Mhango is a good coach and don’t need any introduction. We believe the combination of the two coaches who are competent enough will bear fruits for us as we fight for league championship” added Kanje.

Moyale started on a high note in the first round of the 2017 TNM Super League first round games but flopped towards the end losing a couple of games including a 5-1 embarrasing defeat inflicted by Mighty Be Forward Wanderers.

They finished the first round on position seven with 22 points from 15 games.

Wanderers are the current leaders with 34 points from 14 games followed by Silver Strikers who have 32 points from the same number of
games.

The two sides face each other to determine the winner of the first round in the final game of the first half of the season in the 2017-18
season on Sunday 3rd September 2017.
