Minibus accident claims one life
A speeding minibus has fallen into a ravine after it overturned, killing a 35-year-old woman in Chikwawa.
Seven other passengers are battling for their lives after sustaining various degrees of injuries.
The minibus overturned in the Thabwa escarpment in Chikwawa district on Tuesday.
Police say the minibus registration number NE 8694 overturned when the driver lost control due to speeding today.
The survivors were rushed to Chikwawa district hospital while the driver and the conductor of the minibus are at large.
The law enforcers have since launched a manhunt to apprehend the two.
