Speaker of Parliament Richard Msowoya informed parliament that Minister of Labour, Youth and Manpower Development, Henry Mussa is not using the official dress code of the august House because he has an injury on his shoulder.
Making announcements in the House, the Speaker said Mussa has been affected with the injury.
“”Some of you will see that according to our Standing Order, he may appear to be improperly dressed, but I also want to assure you that he is not holding a machine gun for Kamlepo Kalua, Member for Rumphi East. He is nursing his shoulder.
“He tried to be brave enough to participate in sports but failed and we salute you for the attempt and we feel sorry for the pain that you are going through.For the time being, allow the Honourable Member to use the dressing that can actually help his fast healing,”the Speaker said.
