Moyale beat Red Lions to reach Carlsberg Cup quarter finals
Moyale Barracks on Saturday sailed through to the quarter-finals of the Carlsberg Cup after beating Red Lions 4- 3 at the Zomba Community Centre ground.
The game had to be decided in penalties after the two teams played out to a goalless draw in regulation time.
On the spot kiss, Moyale scored through Khuda Muyaba, Sandres Munthali, Boy Boy Chima and Steve Mkandawire. Chrispin Fukizi’s penalty hit the upright.
Red Lions missed their penalties through Innocent Bokosi and Chikoti Chirwa.
However, Loti Mwakisulu, Mphatso Ngwira and Ndaona Limbani scored their kicks.
