Moyale knocks champs Wanderers out of Fisd Cup
Moyale Barracks on Tuesday chocked the life out of Fisd Challenge Cup defending champions Be Forwards Wanderers when they defeated them 2-0 at Mzuzu Stadium to send the packing in the competition.
The outgoing holders trailed two goals in the first half and when it was in the second half it was done and dusted.
The hosts had then to use ‘bus parking’ strategy to frustrate Wanderers.
If you dominate a game and not score, you give in to frustrations, Wanderers team manager Steve Madeira said while adding: “Tactically we were not strong. We lost the game in the first-half.”
