The Bankers will first meet Mzuni FC on Saturday before coming face to face with the soldiers twenty four hours later.

The soldiers are coming from a goalless draw against Blue Eagles last weekend while the Bankers are coming from an emphatic 3-1 win against TN Stars.

Mkuna says his charges are working hard in training with morale very high and are expecting a win at home against visiting Silver Strikers.

“We are expecting good results after the game. Our supporters should come in their large numbers. I can only promise them an entertaining game and the reward we can give them is a win,” Mkuna said.

He ruled out any injuries in his squad at the moment, saying only one player whose name he could not disclose will miss the game because he had gone to attend to the funeral of his nephew in Salima.

Mzuni FC will be coming into the game against Silver Strikers after drawing 1-1 against Blue Eagles last weekend.

Assistant Coach for Mzuni FC, Etson Kadenge Mwafulirwa, says his players know how important it is collect 3 points in this game.

“We are fourth from the bottom on the log table. We haven’t won any game in the second round apart from three draws. We need the three points more than Silver Strikers and the boys will work hard to get them,” remarked Kadenge.

The Bankers are currently on position 4 with 40 points from 23 and their marksman, Khuda Muyaba, has so far netted 14 goals, level with Be Forward Wanderers’ Babatunde Adepoju.

The soldiers from Moyale are on position 10 with 28 points from 21 games while Mzuni FC is on position 13 with 21 points from 22 games.
