Mwalwanda donates relief items to his victimized supporter

The ruling People’s Party (PP) parliamentarian for Karonga Central Constituency Dr. Cornelius Mwalwanda whose camp is known as PP “B” has donated two 50bags of maize, beans and some of food stuffs to a family which had  their house burnt down by angry PP supporterss of Frank Mwenefumbo which belong to PP “A”.

Speaking during the visit Mwalwanda sympathized with the family for what had happened saying he did not know that people can even reach to the extent of setting a house on fire because of political differences.

“I felt very bad when the news reached me that someone has lost his house and properties because some angry supporters have torched his house because of me something that makes me feel bad as I don’t want anyone to suffer in my name,” said Mwalwanda.

He said he is very shocked seeing these things are happening to innocent people because of politics.

“It is very unfortunate that people in Malawi are still practicing politics of violence which is a bad thing. As for me I don’t prescribe to politics of violence and I very much condemn it,” said Mwalwanda

He then promised to get the house roofed saying “I will make sure that the house has been roofed and people are living happily.”

Geoffrey Gondwe who lost his house thanked Mwalwanda for the assistance but he expressed fear for his life.

“We really thank you for what you  have done for us but am pleading with you to settle things fast so that what has happened for me should not happen to someone else,” worried Gondwe.

Mwenefumbo denied that he sponsored that attack on Gondwe.
