Mzuzu City Mayor William Mkandawire in now a married man after exchanging marriage vows with his sweetheart Takondwa Nyangulu on Saturday.

Hundreds of people from all walks of life braved an afternoon downpour and flocked to the wedding reception at Mzuzu Stadium. The wedding was officiated at Mchengautuwa CCAP Church by Livingstonia Synod general secretary the Reverend Levi Nyondo.

    Is it not encouraging GBV having in mind that women are being denied rights because the man paid the bride price?

    What a very brief story! Could you not have provided a little more details? just the basic ones, maybe? Like where and when the wedding took place, the reception and officiation, the trade that the girl is in (if any) e.t.c. A story needs to have a structure ka! Alternatively, you could have just posted at least 5 pictures, wherefrom; a story could have been made by individual readers.
