National Bus double deck coaches back on the road

National Bus Company (NBC) says it invited a specialist from South Africa to drill the double salon coach drivers and the newly launched double deck coaches have resumed operations on the Blantyre-Lilongwe route.

“The coaches have auto and manual gear boxes and other sophisticated gadgets that require special skills and required the drivers to have particular skills for passenger’s safety,” Automotive Products (AP) Senior Sales Executive Office, Dricent Mwalenga said, according to Mana.

“It took longer for the specialist to arrive because he passed through Botswana on other engagements but finally he has trained them (drivers) and are now ready to handle the coaches,” said Mwalenga.
