Ng’ambi wins player of the year award at Platinum Stars

Malawi international midfielder Robert Ng’ambi has again decorated himself with another two awards after he was voted as Platinum Stars player of the season and the club’s leading scorer in the just ended Premier Soccer League (PSL) season at a gala dinner held on Thursday 15th April, 2014.

The Malawi international played a leading role in helping the Dikwena’s claiming the MTN8 and Telkom Knockout trophies in the just ended season.

Ng’ambi who scored 12 goals for his club received the award in absenter as he was away back home on national duty.

The Flames went on to win the match 2-0 with both scores scored by Bloemfontein Celtic striker Gabadinho Mhango formerly of Big Bullets.

Ng’ambi’s double award win comes barely few days after Mhango again at his club [Bloemfontein Celtic] won two awards of Players player of the season and top goal scorer.
