Njauju murder suspect released on bail, Malawi Police say Thombozi is poorly
Graft busting body, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) former corporate affairs director Issah Njauju’s murder suspect is now on bail.
Police spokesperson James Kadadzera confirmed the High Court in Lilongwe bailed Titus Thombozi, a police officer in Mchinji.
He had been on remand at Maula Prison in Lilongwe for five months.
“The court granted him bail because of ill health,” said Kadadzera.
He however said investigations into the matter on how Njauju was killed and who killed him continues.
Kadadzera said the police are leaving no stone unturned to bring the killers to justice.
This comes at a time when the opposition parties and rights activists are questioning the slow pace of the state to conclude investigations into the killing which happened over one year ago.

Mr PPRO Kadaledzera, I have seen many stones unturned around you. You might have spiritual eyes but politically can’t see what’s happening. Down pressure man, you can run but you cant hide under the almighty’s lights. There will always be time to tell for all you political employees
