No deal for Chatsalira -SuperSport

South Africa’s SuperSport United say they will not sign Malawi national team and Escom United winger Ndaziona Chatsalira despite impressing during his trials at the club.

Chatsalira who was in the rainbow nation or the one week trials reportedly impressed head coach Gavin Hunt and was told to return so that the coach has more time to properly assess him.

The Escom United playmaker is rated as one of Malawi’s hottest young prospects but SuperSport say they are not giving him the contract.

Jose Ferreira, the chief operations officer at SuperSport revealed to Kickoff, “We have decided against signing the Malawian left-winger who was here on trials with us.

Ndaziona: Suprised

“This is purely a decision that we have taken and that’s it. He has now left to go back home to Malawi.”

Chatsalira’s compatriot Atusaye Nyondo joined SuperSport recently.

His agent Kondi Msungama said the player has “a bright future” and that “more doors of opportunities are yet to open up.”

Chatsalira was awarded the Player of the Month for July in the Malawi‘s flagship TNM Super League.
