There are no shortcuts with God

I have seen many people who are trusting God to intervene in their situations, but have given up too soon. The problem is not that God is not hearing there problems, but it is because most people want to use shortcuts to receive from God.

The Bible tells us clearly in Mathew 6:33 to seek first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness and all things shall be added unto us. This is a condition to guarantee receiving anything from God.

Many people rely too much on other people to be praying for them as if God has selected few people that He will only be able to hear and answer their prayers.

The Bible tells us to of course pray for one another, but it does not mean that our focus should be on those that are standing with us in prayer because doing so you start creating your own god which will not please God at all.

Our God is a jealousy God (Exodus 20:5) and will not allow you to start worshipping something else instead of giving Him the worship that belongs to Him alone. It is actually a sin to worship or serve anything other than God.

Why have you then decided to give glory and honor to a mere person who has been created by God Himself and yet you are expecting to receive from God not the one that you are glorifying or worshiping.

We have seen in the bible that God acted and showed up to those that prayed, and worshipped Him.

Acts 4:31 says that when they prayed the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

This shows us that we cannot just wait for others to be praying for us, but we need to be part of the whole thing.

You cannot do a shortcut by believing that someone will be praying for you while you have not even received Jesus Christ as your personal savior and spend some quality time in prayer.

God is found by those that continually seek Him. If you want to go deep in the things of God, spend quality time with Him. He wants to get close to you as He has said that “and you shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all you heart” (Jeremiah 29:13). This is a promise to any and to all, and for all the time for there is no situation that is too big for our God.
