Nomads bus breaks down after winning it in Luso TV bonanza

Mighty Be Forward Wanderers  victory celebration of winning  Luso TV Bus Ipite Bonanza  was spoiled on Tuesday when the  K25 million worth 26-seater Nissan Caravan bus had a breakdown at Manjawira in Ntcheu on their way back to their base Blantyre form Lilongwe.

Nomads players who secured a back to back victories over their age-old rivals Nyasa Big Bullets with a 5-1 aggregate score were aboard the bus.

It developed serious clutch plate faults spoiling the  mood of the players

But  after mechanics had worked on it, the bus hit the road again for Blantyre.

Nomads team manager Stevie Madeira still insists the bus will ease the clubs transport challenges.

  1. FAM is destroying football. This bonanza did not add any value to our football olo pangono. Luso imports ka chiphapha ka galimoto for less than US$10,000 and takes away over US$35,000 in gate takings and the winners are left with a mechanically unsound prize money. This is daylight robbery and its not suprising wina wake kuFAM benefitted from the K25ml windfall LusoTV made from that game. Some prizes need to be vetted alternatively, Luso should have just been asked to buy a bus from CFAO/Toyota if they have so much love for the game. Iyi ndi Lusogate and it stinks to heavens high!

  14. I think the company that gave the bus as the match prize should repair the bus. I think the understanding of the teams playing in this game was that it would be a good bus not one that would break down after only covering about 208 kilometres from Lilongwe
