Inu amene mukuti Mia sadzakwanisa supporting councilors and MPs pa ma general elections ndikufunsa funso. Kodi Inu mudzakwanisa kukhapa anthu onse mu ma districts onse kumwerako???
These are the two parties that have taken Malawi and Malawians backwards and they simply take advantage of ignorance to continue ruling. Malawians are very strange people and they do not care whether they are suffering or not. These idiots in dpp and atupele muluzi are leading very confortable lives while these poor idiots are simply chewing misale and kudya mbatata.
Lesson for MCP. The Eastern and Southern regions of Malawi are key regions to make MCP get into government come May, 2019. HENCE, VIGOROUS CAMPAIGN BY MCP MUST BE CONDUCTED IN THESE TWO REGIONS. Ofcourse without losing grip of the Centre. GET MORE ORGANIZED TO BOOT OUT MBAVA M’ BOMA PLEASE!!
@dpp wa yudiefu
The parties you have mentioned, which one was not there that can now make MCP win? Why didn’t MCP win in 2014 with all that sharing of voters among the three big parties?
MCP has impressed. Let’s move on this was just a sth to chew as we wait for the main dish. But so far things are good.

Malawi politics will never change or put it more bluntly, Malawians will never change (at least not in the next 20 years). Malawi has the most uneducated and poorest voters in the world. Therefore political patterns follow the thinking of the common denominator, much to the frustration of those who are politically aware and sassy. This is why political analysts are always getting it wrong when it comes to predicting political outcomes. Malawi will always get political delinquents leading the country to nowhere, because the shallow minded and uneducated population (which is almost 75% of the voters) is calling the shots. This is the constituent that DPP appeals to and will likely win with 35% total votes (First Past The Point – FPTP formula)
The fact that others are opposed to your thinking is being uneducated. Bola inu mupita ku sukulu.
Malawi’s politics is too funny we vote based on tribe, region and finances any party that can use the such criteria and calculate it well based on demographic carry the day. come 2019 DPP will carry the day because of the demographic in the southern region and the opportunities to penetrate in the central region. MCP is having the disadvantage because of its inability to penetrate the southern region and to build strong base in the central region as Ntcheu, Salama and Nkhotakota are go zone for the ruling party and some parches in other districts like Kasungu, Mchinji and Lilongwe. North always support the governing party after fed up supporting opposition in 1994, 1999 and 2004. the mood changed in 2009 and 2014, I expect the trend be the same in 2019
iiiiiihh inu mutonene zonsezi mwaiwala kale 5-1 ija ma Councillor ndi amene munenela chonchi sono ma Mukanati muwine ma MP momwe anachitila azathu a MCP mukanati bwa KKKKKKKKKKKKKK mulibe manyazi etii
From a positive perspective MCP is indeed gaining some ground. If you analyze the results on a percentage basis then you know what am talking about. you should therefore expect the graph to go up come 2019 MCP can hit 30- 40% average in the south and eastern region, which is what we want anyway.
Thr DPP-UDF alliance should rather be worried. MCP is quicklymaking in-roads in the southern n eastern political regions.
The figures indicate that MCP candidates were getting about 25 to 35% of the votes… a feat they never achieved before
Wait a minute. In 2019 Atupele, Peter and JB will be candidates splitting the votes from the same basket. What would have happened if DPP had also competed in Malindi? Which votes were going their way? Ndangodutsamo.
Ine ndikuwona kuti pali improvement kumwerako, kale wa MCP sakanakwanitsa kupeza 1060 votes , dikilani afro barometer ikuwuzani, MCP ikulowa m’boma, anthu dziko lonse la Malawi sangavote mwa umbuli, munya ndithu, 2019 sali patali, tiyamikile a UDF chifukwa cha campaign wa bata.
Although MCP has not won these elections any one with right mind knows that MCP is making a big inroad in the Southern Region. In the past it was impossible for MCP to get such numbers. It shows that MCP will surely win the 2019 elections because it will get a good number of votes from the southern region. It is only someone who is pretending to be mayopic who can refute this.
The sterategy that was used by DPP in MJ to threaten MCP supporters will not prevent people from voting a candidate of their choice come 2019.
Let’s wait for 2019. Mia spent a lot in Malindi , he gave a lot of money to people including chiefs. The same will not happen during General elections becoz area of coverage will be big. I am writing from Malindi and I know what was happening. Most of you are writing from your offices in Bt or LL.
Zoona. Mia he is using that method ya handouts kuti a MCP aku central region amuone ngati dolo, ngati MCP yalowa zeni zeni ku southern region which is completely bodza same happened here in Nsanje lalanje he also used that strategy but worked cause poor candidate fielding of DPP kuyimisa munthu woti kwao si kuno ku Nsanje lalanje
Bodza ayi inenso ndine was ku Nsanje. MCP inawina bwinobwino. Idzatenganso mipando kuno.
Sitingapange mavutonso a DPP. Olo munene tivoterabe MCP.
Omachemba mau ozilimbitsa ameneo without the Mia factor MCP inakapeza 120 votes or less in Mangochi. Here it has finished second. What they need is just to built on that.Ku Mulanje Paja mumakaniza kampeni.Mzimayi kumangomugenda Koma without campaigning she has managed to get Some Votes.Pang ono ndi pang ono MCP is making inroads. That’s why your Paramount is very afraid.
Hard luck MCP for putting a grant fight. At least the battle field was 50 – 50 in Mangochi. Congrats to the winning parties.
Pretty pathetic performance by MCP, whichever way you slice the data.
Near zero return on investment, to be sure. Can Mr Mia deliver the goods, or is he another indicator of poor judgment by oChakwera, the leader of MCP? The “dissidents” are just lapping it up basi.
Where can Mr Mia deliver a victory, if one eludes him in the Muslim heartland? Apparently nowhere. His luster is fading fast, even in his home turf – the Lower Shire.
Even though these elections were not parliamentary, analysts cannot avoid studying the data. MCP didn’t even come close to winning in Malindi: but maybe, and this is a big “maybe”, MCP can win one or two parliamentary seats in the South. Is that worth dumping Mr Msowoya for Mr Miya? It’s not too late for oChakwera to reflect on this.
Even though trends cannot be drawn from one reference point, MCP should continue feeling the heat.
Kuwawidwa mtima uku. Wait and keep on dreaming.
MCP will sweep the south. Msowoya mukukambayo in his constituency failed to get a councilor for MCP and mavote ake anasiyana pangono ndi wa Aford Khwauli Msiska
Joji Wina demokalase itoyenda bwino Ku Mulanjetu.Anthu kumafunsidwa kuti wavotera ndani ukapanda kuyankha basi makofi.kkkkk .Demokalase woyee!
your opinion based on speculation and rumors cannot be bought by fact minded person. Losers shall always have excuses.
Remember it’s 2-0 MPs
3-1 Councilors MCP vs DPP. facts facts facts.
Or put it this way 6-1 (Opposition vs DPP). Facts facts
This is an indicator of what will happen in 2019, MCP will lose again as they will spread their MIA resources trying to field candidates in all wards and constituencies across the whole world of Malawi
Going back to drawing Table. Any way congrats
Nanga kulubwalubwa bwanji a Mcp inu. DPP and UDF are untouchable in their respective domains
Congratulations to UDF.Politics should be fought on the podium not beating up fellow Malawians.MEC according to the Maravi Post it is some Paramount Chief who gave orders that MCP should not conduct any meeting in the Lomwe Belt. The order also applies to the 2019 General Elections.Maybe its time we abolish the Multiparty system in favour of kingdoms.
Do you really believed that MCP would win an election in Mulanje? compare the votes amassed by all losing candidates against the winner and see the gap. The issue is this is DPP’s stronghold
Whatever was happening in Mulanje or whatever will be happening in areas where lhomews dominate ahead of 2019 general election especially to MCP followers, don’t blame it on lhomwes. Inu a mcp mwatiyamba dala kutitukwana, chopweteka mumatukwana anthu oti ndalama za boma sitikudya nao. Ndiye pano mwaiputa ya RORONYA! Tikuumbudzanidi mukabwera madela akwathu.
Inu mulibe nzeru dala Mr pathfinder. A sane person can not promote hatred and violence. Pakati pa DPP ndi MCP amene amatukwana nzake ndi ndani? Suja mukumakhalira kutukwana MCP pa Radio yanu ya ma presenter opepera ija yotchedwa MBC?
Tivotereni Ife tidzidya ndalama aku mpoto. Your work is to vote. Ife DPP puts us in offices and we enjoy. Muzikhapana choncho. Kwathu kuno we can’t do those foolish and barberic acts. Whether you win or lose we enjoy DPP in appeasing us.
